Watt Whisky Tomintoul 10 Years Old (56.7%)

This Tomintoul is a 10 year old single malt from the independent bottler Watt Whisky, bottled at 56.7% ABV. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2021, from a single sherry butt that gave 246 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered, its colour is never adjusted and nothing is added. Watt Whisky was started in 2019 by Mark and Kate Watt, who have more than 40 years in the Scotch whisky industry between them. The palate is creamy, with butterscotch, marzipan, cashew nuts and raisins. The finish is long and intense.
