Wemyss Malts Spice King 2020 Small Batch (46%)

Spice King is a small batch blended malt Scotch whisky from Wemyss Malts, bottled at 46% without chill-filtering. It is a vatting of up to ten single malts from the Highlands and the islands, combining the familiar notes of both regions. Toffee, spice and maritime sea air form its character. The nose is sweet toffee and caramel with white pepper and sea salt. The palate is silky and complex, the sweetness turning to nutmeg, pepper and oak, with a slightly mineral, salty edge. The finish is medium in length and spicy, with some malt and a hint of smoke.
