Westward – American Single Malt Cask Strength Whiskey (75cl, 62.5%)

Westward American Single Malt Cask Strength is bottled uncut at 62.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It comes from the Westward distillery in Portland, Oregon, and is non-chill filtered. It is made from 100% Pacific Northwest two-row malted barley, brewed into an ale with the house ale yeast before being double distilled in copper pot stills. The whiskey is aged in new charred American oak barrels in Oregon. The tasting notes mention toasted almond, graham cracker and black pepper on the nose, sesame, tobacco leaf and cacao on the palate, and a honeyed, deep, fiery malt finish.
