Westward Milestone Edition No. 4 is an American single malt from Portland, Oregon, bottled at 57% ABV. It is the fourth annual Milestone release, created by blending expert Miles Munroe.
The whiskey is a vatting from a 21-barrel solera of some of the distillery's oldest stocks, so it carries no age statement. Most of it received a secondary maturation in Hungarian oak and large French-oak Armagnac casks, an approach inspired by the vintage traditions of Cognac and Armagnac. It was released in the last quarter of 2026.
The nose combines Manuka honey, gardenia, coconut and cedar. Brown sugar, split oak, apricot, fig and leather lead the palate, and the finish runs to lemon rind, cherry, tobacco and espresso.
