This Glenrothes is a 10 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled independently by Whisky AGE as Whiskutopia #3. It was distilled in 2013 and matured in a first fill Manzanilla sherry hogshead, cask 9137. It was bottled at 65.6%, with 120 bottles produced.
The nose opens with cereal and toasted notes, then raisins, citrus, honey and nuts. The palate is rich, with ripe grapes, dark berries, toffee and roasted nuts. The finish is medium to long, with sherry, dark red fruit, nuts and drying spice.
