The Alrik is a lightly smoky whisky from the Hammerschmiede distillery in the Harz, bottled by Whisky Druid at 62.9% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in cask no. 615, a French Banyuls barrique, and 235 bottles were filled in total. The fortified wine cask gives the whisky a creamy sweetness, which recalls apricots, oranges and honey.
