This is a straight rye whiskey from WhistlePig, aged for at least ten years in new American oak barrels. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV.
It was first released in the summer of 2010. Master Distiller Dave Pickerell searched North America for the best rye whiskey and regarded this one as hitting the sweet spot of proof, purity and age. It is hand bottled at the WhistlePig Farm Distillery in Shoreham, Vermont.
