WhistlePig 11 Year Old is a straight rye whiskey from WhistlePig Farm in Shoreham, Vermont. It comes in a 750ml bottle at 55.5% ABV, which is 111 proof. The whiskey spent eleven years maturing in Vermont and has a deep amber colour. The proof was chosen to echo the age statement. The nose combines rye spice, caramel, dried fruit and vanilla. On the palate there is grain spice, dried fruit and oak, followed by a long, warm finish.
