WhistlePig – PiggyBack 6 Year Old Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

PiggyBack is a small batch bourbon from WhistlePig, aged for six years in new American oak barrels and bottled at 100 proof (50%) in a 75cl bottle. It is built on a mash bill high in corn, with a little rye kept in, and the barrels are Char #3. It is made as the sweeter counterpart to the distillery's signature rye. The nose brings caramel corn with oak. On the palate there is maple and vanilla with a creamy texture, and the finish is herbal tea with a hint of honey.
