White Heather 15 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

White Heather 15 Years is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It combines peated and unpeated malts from Speyside, Islay and the Northern Highlands with grain whisky, and the malt content is 47 percent. The whisky began in sherry butts and American oak barrels. After blending it was re-racked into Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons and American virgin oak casks for a further three years. The nose brings heather honey and butterscotch, then orange peel, pineapple, mint and a hint of peat. On the palate are treacle, heather honey and butterscotch, with orange peel, grapefruit and almonds. Mocha, ginger and a light wisp of peaty smoke come in the finish.
