This is a very old bottling of White Horse blended Scotch whisky, dating from the late 1950s or early 1960s and closed with a tin spring cap. It is bottled at 40%. James Logan Mackie first produced White Horse in 1861, and the brand takes its name from a well-known Edinburgh inn. Lagavulin is one of its key components, and given the age of this bottling a major part of the blend is expected to be Lagavulin.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
