Master's Keep Triumph is a Kentucky rye from Wild Turkey, bottled at 52% in a 75cl bottle. At ten years old, it is the oldest rye the Wild Turkey Distilling Co. has released. It is dedicated to Bruce Russell, the distillery's newly appointed Associate Blender, who has long had a passion for rye. The casks for this small batch were chosen to be matured for longer than most.
The nose is sweet, with dark cherries, chocolate, iced coffee, honeyed coffee cake, tobacco, clove and cinnamon. The palate is creamy and silky, with dark clover honey, sweet oak, dried fruit and toffee. The finish is long, with condensed milk, nutmeg, caramel and chocolate.
