Wild Turkey 101 is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle. It spent around eight years in charred white oak barrels, and a high rye content in the mash bill gives it a spicy character.
The colour is dark gold. The nose is floral, with sweet fruit and oak. The palate is robust, with vanilla, sweet caramel, dried fruit, Christmas spices and wood, and the finish is medium in length, warming and honeyed.
