This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, released to mark Jimmy Russell's 70 years with the distillery. It comes in a 75cl bottle. Jimmy Russell joined Wild Turkey in 1954 and has been master distiller since 1967. The release is a tribute to the man himself rather than to a production method or an age milestone. His son Eddie Russell, who joined the distillery in 1981, now works alongside him as co-master distiller.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
