Willett Johnny Drum Private Stock Bourbon (75cl)

Johnny Drum Private Stock is a bourbon from Willett, in a 75cl bottle. The Willett name goes back to a distillery on the outskirts of Bardstown, Kentucky, founded shortly after the repeal of prohibition in 1935 by the brothers Thompson and Johnny Willett. After the distillery closed, Evan Kulsveen, who married Thompson Willett's daughter Martha, set out to revive the family business. In the late 1980s he exported its old stock to Japan and Europe. When that stock ran out, the cost of reopening the distillery made it unviable at the time.
