Windsor Canadian is a blended Canadian whisky bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It is made at Alberta Distillers Limited in Calgary.
Rye, corn, wheat and barley are each distilled separately and aged in charred white oak barrels. The components are then blended together once they have matured.
The nose offers toasted grain, honey, ripe peach and clove, with a little pine resin and vanilla. The palate is soft and honeyed, moving to grainy wood and baking spice, then dried fruit, caramel and gentle oak. The finish is medium in length, with toasted grain, mild spice and a faint echo of vanilla and caramel.
