Pendleton is a blended Canadian whisky in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. The base whisky is distilled by Alberta Distillers in Calgary, Alberta, and then proofed by Hood River Distillers of Oregon with glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood.
The brand takes its name from the Oregon town known for its annual Pendleton Round-Up.
Tasting notes describe vanilla, caramel, toasted marshmallow and baking spice on the nose. The palate is smooth and sweet, with caramel, honey, baked apple and pear, and restrained oak. The finish is clean and fairly short, with vanilla and a faint spice warmth.
