Wolfburn Isa is the eleventh bottling in the Kylver series, a run of releases based on the 24-letter Viking runic alphabet, with each bottling standing for one letter.
Isa is the eleventh rune and means eternal ice and standstill, a moment that seems frozen for ever. This single malt matured in a bourbon barrel and an Oloroso sherry butt. Just 900 bottles were filled at cask strength, 53.4%, without added colouring or chill filtration.
