A single cask Ardmore from the Woodrow's of Edinburgh Warehouse Reserve, 29 years old and bottled at a cask strength of 56.6% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a refill hogshead.
It was distilled on 27 August 1996 and bottled on 20 July 2026, yielding 183 bottles. It is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
Orchard fruits, vanilla, toasted almonds and chamomile on the nose sit over damp forest floor and a hint of smouldering wool. The palate is oily, with stewed apples, ripe peaches, vanilla buttercream and marzipan, balanced by earthy minerality and gentle bonfire smoke. The finish is medium to long, with orchard fruits, wood ash, cloves and a hint of turmeric.
