Woodrow's of Edinburgh Warehouse Reserve GlenDronach 20 Year Old (70cl, 51.9%)

This is a 20-year-old single-cask GlenDronach bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh in a 70cl bottle at 51.9%. It was distilled on 28 March 2006 and bottled on 13 April 2026, with 205 bottles drawn from a refill bourbon barrel. The distillery's profile is typically sherry-heavy, but here two decades in bourbon wood have produced a different style of Highland malt. The nose offers poached pear, lychee, honey, almonds and freshly ground coffee. The palate is slightly waxy, with white chocolate, coffee, green grape and star anise. The finish is long and spiced, with marzipan, tobacco, cardamom and nutmeg.
