Writer's Tears Copper Pot is an Irish single pot still whisky from Walsh Distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from a mix of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled, and matured in American and European oak casks.
The nose brings fresh apples and pears, with light floral touches and a hint of caramel. On the palate sweetness and a gentle spice sit in balance, with a velvety, clean texture. The oak adds warm notes of vanilla, honey and sweet spice.
