Writers Tears Cask Strength 2017 Limited Edition (70cl, 53%)

Writers Tears Cask Strength 2017 is an Irish whiskey from Walsh Whiskey Distillery, a cask strength vatting of single pot still and single malt. It was bottled at 53% in August 2017, without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The release is limited to 5,280 bottles, each numbered and signed by Walsh Whiskey founder Bernard Walsh. It is the first Writers Tears Cask Strength to have new packaging since the first release in 2011, with a chalkboard illustration by Irish illustrator Linda Byrne showing the path from field to bottle.
