Writers Tears Cask Strength Limited Edition 2017 (70cl, 53%)

Writers Tears Cask Strength 2017 is an Irish whiskey from Walsh Whiskey Distillery, a cask strength vatting of single pot still and single malt. It was bottled at 53% in August 2017 and is non-chill filtered. The release is limited to 5,280 bottles, each numbered and signed by Walsh Whiskey founder Bernard Walsh. It is the first Writers Tears Cask Strength since the 2011 original to come in new packaging, with a chalkboard illustration by Irish illustrator Linda Byrne showing the making of whiskey from field to bottle.
