Yamazaki – 12 Year Old 100th Anniversary (43%)

This is Yamazaki 12 Year Old 100th Anniversary, a limited edition single malt from Japan's first and oldest malt distillery. It was bottled a century after the distillery was founded and the House of Suntory was born. The whisky matured in a variety of casks for at least 12 years and is bottled at 43% ABV. The nose offers juicy peaches, persimmons and vanilla. On the palate come coconut, butter and rich, sweet oak, with lingering vanilla and caramel on the finish.
