Yamazakura is a Japanese blended whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The name translates as "mountain cherry trees". It is produced by Sasanokawa Shuzo, a distillery that has made sake and shochu since 1765.
The blend is a strict selection of the distillery's own whisky, aged for up to 20 years in ex-bourbon barrels.
It is described as mild and smooth, with light smoke and complex fruit flavours.
