Yamazakura 'Precious' Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Yamazakura 'Precious' is a blended Japanese whisky from Sasanokawa Shuzo, a small distillery in Japan. It is bottled at 46% and comes in a 70cl bottle. The blend draws on a rich selection of malt whiskies, which gives it a more velvety palate. Sasanokawa Shuzo's own distillation has followed the rises and falls of the Japanese whisky market, and bulk spirit imports have at times replaced its own production. It is usually described with vanilla, honey and apricot, an elegant sweetness balanced by malty cereals.
