Yellow Rose Premium American Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Yellow Rose Premium American Whiskey is the flagship of Yellow Rose Distilling in Houston, Texas, the city's first legal whiskey distillery, founded in 2010. It is a pot-distilled blend aged in small oak barrels, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. The distillery describes it as fuller in flavour than typical Canadian blends, thanks to a higher bourbon content. It takes its name from the folk heroine of Texas. The nose is light and fruity, with banana and caramel. The palate is sweet, again with banana and caramel, and the finish is medium and gently sweet.
