Yellowstone Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 46.5%)

Yellowstone Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Limestone Branch Distillery, drawn from one selected barrel and bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for four years in oak, and the release is limited to 282 bottles. The mash bill is 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% barley. Because it comes from a single barrel rather than a blend, it has a rustic, firm character and differs from the regular Yellowstone Select, which blends several whiskeys. The nose offers leather, wood, acacia honey, caramelised apricot, smoke and spice, with a hint of chamomile. The palate is spicy with rye, stone fruit, toasted wood and smoked caramel with cherry, and the finish is long with brown sugar.
