Yushan Sherry Cask is a Taiwanese single malt matured in sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV. It is neither coloured nor chill-filtered. The spirit is distilled in copper pot stills, both Scottish (Forsyths) and Belgian. Yushan takes its name from the highest mountain in Taiwan, and the island's climate favours faster maturation and a concentration of aromas. The character of this sherry cask expression is described as gourmand.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
