This is the second edition from Yuza Distillery in Yamagata Prefecture, a cask strength Japanese single malt bottled at 62% in a 70cl bottle. It was released in 2022.
The whisky is made from malts distilled in the distillery's first season, between February and July 2019, and matured in Sherry casks. The water comes from the snowmelt of nearby Mount Chokai.
It is described as smooth and creamy, with light peat, rich orchard fruit and a rounded finish.
