Yuza Distillery – Third Edition Cask Strength Single Malt Japanese Whisky (2023 Release) (70cl, 55%)

Yuza Distillery Third Edition is a cask strength single malt Japanese whisky, a limited release from 2023, in a 70cl bottle at 55% ABV. It was made at the Yuza Distillery in Yamagata Prefecture, using water from the area around Mount Chōkai. This is a young whisky, matured in selected oak casks and bottled at natural cask strength. The nose brings green apple, pear and white peach with vanilla cream and honeyed malt. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with baked apple, custard, malted biscuit and toffee, and the finish is long and warming, with vanilla, honey and light cinnamon.
