Yuza Single Malt First Edition 2022 is the first regular single malt bottling from the Yuza Distillery in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. It was composed from distillate of the early production period and matured for about three years in bourbon barrels. It was bottled at a natural cask strength of 61%, without colouring and without chill-filtration.
The nose has honey, vanilla, apricot, white grapes, orange peel and almonds. The palate is fruity and creamy, with sweet apricot, vanilla and fine malt. The finish is of medium length and fresh, with citrus, milk chocolate, mint and malt.
