A rum from the Ten Cane Distillery in Trinidad, distilled in 2008 from freshly pressed sugar cane juice in a pot still. It matured for 15 years in an ex-bourbon cask, 7 years in Trinidad and 8 years in Europe.
The distillery was operated by LVMH from 2005 and closed in 2013, making Ten Cane one of the shorter-lived distilleries in rum history. This single cask comes from the last remaining stocks with tropical maturation.
