A bottle of 100 Pipers from the 1970s, made by Joseph E. Seagram & Sons and filled in a 75cl size.
The nose is intense with cereal, cream and malted barley, lifted by lemon cream and vanilla, with a very faint background of peat or wood smoke. On the palate it has a medium to full body, with vanilla, caramel and nuts alongside old oak notes from long storage in the bottle.
The finish is dry, clean and slightly sweet, with a balanced aftertaste of spice and toasted wood.
