As a bottled-in-bond whiskey, it comes from one distillery and one distilling season and has spent at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse. Being a single barrel, it shows its own character rather than that of a blended batch. The nose is caramel and vanilla with charred oak. The palate is rich with caramel, vanilla and oak spice, and the finish is warm and lingering with gentle pepper.
