1792 Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

A Kentucky straight bourbon from the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, bottled in bond at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 750ml bottle. Bottled-in-bond rules require the whiskey to come from one distillery in a single distilling season, to age for at least four years in a bonded warehouse and to be bottled at exactly 100 proof. The bourbon balances spice, oak and sweetness. The nose brings warm spice, charred oak and fresh mint. The palate has caramel apple sweetness with rich oak and lively spice, and the finish is bold and lingering, with coffee and black pepper.
