This is a Tomatin 10 Year Old bottled in the 1960s, in a 75cl bottle. It is a Highland single malt, pale gold with a light amber tint.
The nose offers honeyed malt, barley sugar, green apple and pear, with a little butter, vanilla and old oak, and a faint waxy note alongside the softest hint of smoke.
The palate is light to medium in body and silky, with sweet malt, vanilla fudge, soft orchard fruit and a touch of lemon sherbet. The finish is medium, with sweet grain, honey and light oak.
