This is an 8 year old pure malt Scotch whisky from Dufftown-Glenlivet, dating from the 1980s. It was produced under the ownership of Arthur Bell & Sons, at a time when the term pure malt was still in use.
It is described as a classic Speyside whisky of its era.
The nose is dry and aromatic. The palate is heavy and syrupy with a strong malty flavour, leading to a medium, oily finish.
