The Dufftown Glenlivet A De Luxe is an 8 year old Highland malt Scotch whisky from the 1970s, distilled and bottled in Scotland by Arthur Bell & Sons Ltd. It was bottled at 70° proof in a 26⅔ fl oz bottle.
The colour is gold. The nose offers green bananas, apples, a tea box, candles and a little pollen. The palate is sweet and salty, with tobacco, bitter herbs, salty plums and a touch of honey, on a rich barley body. The finish is rather long and oily, with salt, dry bananas and honey.
