This is Dufftown-Glenlivet 8 Year Old, a pure malt Scotch whisky from the 1980s, in a 1 litre bottle. It was made under the ownership of Arthur Bell & Sons, at a time when the term pure malt was still in use, and it is described as a Speyside whisky.
The nose is dry and aromatic. The palate is heavy and syrupy, with a strong malty flavour, and the finish is medium and oily.
