Bushmills The Original 1608 is a blended Irish whisky with a crystal malt component. It was aged in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is toffee, dark honey and roasted nuts, with dried fruit, oak spice and a touch of smoky malt. On the palate it is full-bodied and smooth, with caramelised sugar, hazelnut and spiced apple. The finish is long and warming, with cinnamon, nutmeg and dried apricot.
