This is a cask-strength whisky from 5Nines Distilling, matured in a PX cask and bottled at 64% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is full of raisin, treacle tart, fig jam, chocolate ganache, clove oil and molasses, with a peppery heat running through sweet smoke and dark spice. The palate has brandy-soaked Christmas cake, espresso, black cherry liqueur and clove-studded orange, with a dense, oily texture, then leather, balsamic, dried date and burnt sugar. The finish is long, with dark fruit, oak char, cacao and spice.
