A.D. Rattray Cask Speyside 12 Year Old Sherry Finish (46%)

This is a small-batch Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 12 years and finished in sherry casks. It is independently bottled by A.D. Rattray at 46% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration. The fresh orchard fruit of Speyside malt meets richer berry fruit, honeyed sweetness and warming spice. The nose is almond icing, cinnamon, red apple and blackcurrant. On the palate come cherry and plum with spiced honey and zesty orange marmalade. The finish lingers gently, with subtle spice and a lightly tart bramble character.
