A. Smith Bowman Cask Strength Bourbon Batch 3 (75cl, 67.5%)

A. Smith Bowman Cask Strength Batch 3 is a Virginia straight bourbon bottled at natural barrel strength, 135.1 proof or 67.55% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. It is uncut and unfiltered. A. Smith Bowman Distillery was founded in 1935 in Sunset Hills, Virginia, and moved to Fredericksburg in 1988. The Cask Strength releases are individual batches bottled without dilution or filtration, and this is the third of them. The nose is rich with caramel, vanilla and grain spice. The palate is bold and concentrated, and the finish is long and warming.
