A Tale of Two Banffs is an 11 year old Benrinnes single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at cask strength. It spent nine years in ex-bourbon casks and a further two in sherry octaves.
The name links Banffshire in Scotland with the city of Banff in Alberta, Canada.
The nose shows red wine, citrus and Juicy Fruit. The palate is dry, with firm tannins and subtle fruit. The finish is very long, with oak spice and a hint of tropical fruit.
