Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in the Highlands, in a 75cl bottle. The label now has a black and rose-gold colour scheme, chosen to suit its rich, malty character.
The nose is creamy, with sherried fruit, a trace of smoke, prune, custard and espresso bean. On the palate it is sweet and malty with a gentle peat and a very clean mouthfeel, bringing vanilla, peaches in cream and subtle oak. The finish carries ginger, malt, nutty nougat and a little grapefruit zest.
