Aberfeldy 12 Years Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 40%. It is creamy, sweet and lightly smoky, with the honeyed fruit character associated with Aberfeldy. The label is dressed in black and rose gold.
The nose is creamy, with some sherry fruit, a hint of smoke, honeyed plums, custard and espresso beans. The palate is sweet and malty with a subtle touch of peat and a soft, silky texture, followed by vanilla fudge, peaches and cream and a little toasted oak.
The finish brings ginger, malt, nutty nougat and perhaps a hint of grapefruit zest.
