Aberfeldy – 15 Year Old Pomerol Cask Finish (70cl)

Aberfeldy 15 Years Old is a limited edition Highland single malt finished in red wine casks from Pomerol. The whisky spent 15 years in a combination of re-fill and re-charred Bourbon casks, followed by a second maturation of around four to five months in the Pomerol wine casks. Pomerol is the smallest of the major Bordeaux wine-producing appellations. The wine casks are said to intensify Aberfeldy's honeyed fruitiness with layers of red berries and stone fruits.
