Aberfeldy – 15 Years Old Cadillac White Wine Cask Finish (43%)

Aberfeldy 15 Years Old is a limited edition Scotch single malt bottled at 43% ABV. It was first matured in a combination of refill casks, then finished for six months in Cadillac white wine casks. The wine casks come from a 40 hectare estate farmed sustainably in the Entre-deux-Mers area of Gironde, just south of Bordeaux. The sweet, aromatic wines of the Cadillac appellation come from a site with a maritime climate, steep south-facing slopes and chalky, gravelly soil. The nose offers ripe peaches and nectarines, creamy toffee and a hint of spicy orange peel, with delicate floral notes. The finish carries a soft, lingering cinnamon.
