Aberfeldy 16 Years Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
On the nose, raisin and cinnamon come first, followed by cream, caramel and apple, with a faint malty, floral note behind them.
The palate is round and rich, opening with fresh apple, moving to honey on toast in the middle and ending with a subtle ginger spice. The finish is long, with oak notes.
